Hi Alcoholic!
So good to meet you. We're happy to have you here. Keep counting the minutes, or seconds if need be. Do whatever it takes to get through the first few days, they are definitely the hardest. Do you have a plan to get through tonight? My advice would be to stay as busy as possible...OR go to bed as early as possible...either one works! Stick close and let us know how you're doing!

I was sober day 1, then day 2 went out to dinner w a friend had 2 glasses of wine, then back to no drinking today. Tempted to drink tonight because of boredom, but instead, visiting this forum to pass the time. I also bought more books to read. Now I have 9 books to read!!! Love to read! So no excuse to drink!Alcoholic (or Ally)
