Here we are again at the end of the week and charging into the weekend.

We were chatting last night about seeing someone who has masses of AF time and it can sometimes be a bit overwhelming and Molly came up with this quote from a gent in AA with over 20 years sober.

'well we're all sitting here in this room today with the same sobriety ---- today' ---


Just going to change it a wee bit and say

.......well we're all sitting here at our computers with the same sobriety...........today.....

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, which is why we call it the present.

Today is just another day to not care about what happened yesterday.

I to remember a woman in AA who had 8 yrs who chaired a meeting & said she'd only been sober one day & me being new at the time I was naive & believed her. Found out later she had 8 yrs. She was a cool lady!

We only have to not drink, just for today! Whew, I think I can handle that.
