    trying it again

I am thankful to a friend who sent me to MWO. I am loving what I have been finding here. i figured since i skipped work to nurse a hangover & be down on myself, I should do something constructive. i had three weeks under my belt, & then started hitting it as hard as ever. Ive gone longer stints, i never drank thru any of my 5 pregnancies. but pretty much ive been addicted to something since i have been 13, iam 40 now.

so, i just wanted to say hi & Iam trying it again

        Hi Mntgirl,
Welcome! I recently discovered MWO as well and I love it here! Before I even joined in, I spent hours and hours reading all the different threads and posts, Getting to know the people here. What I love the most is the encouragement and support for everyone, and the recognition that there is more than one way to find sobriety. There are people here from all over the world, sharing what is working for them, whether it's meds, supplements, diet, exercise, or whatever combination. Some people want to abstain, some to moderate and some are happy to just increase the number of alcohol-free days they have per month. A lot of tools and info available, too. The MWO book, dvd, feedback on meds and supps etc. Good luck and hope you let us know how it's going for you. So glad you are here!
