Okay, but being naive and sort of stupid, please tell me what is really happening. This is affecting many, many people. So, joking aside, how are we going to hold the believers in our hearts as they suffer this loss? What can we do to help?

your very compassionate Tess but speaking from an almost totally catholic country (ireland)people are not really bothered,even the believers are blase about the whole thing.This man was directly responsible for covering up child abuse in the church which led to many more children being put at risk and abused so a lot of catholics here are glad to see the back of him tbh,
