Me also hopefully. Was doing well then the storms that hit the NE had me working too much and then cold and tired and caught some bug and a bottle and now I am in need of finding an AF day. Thanks for the inspiration.

Me, too, but I put myself in a situation that sure had the itch going. On the way home, I stopped to meet my daughter at a pub I used to frequent before she went to work and ordered a coke. It was a convenience meet up for us both. Of course some old 'pub friends' were there telling me they were buying. In my mood it would have been so easy to say alright, but after an hour of conversation and my coke, I got my behind out of there. May not be strong enough at this point to handle that temptation. I was actually craving a coke (thirsty and hungry), but once I got around people I knew who were drinking, it sure sounded good...old times trigger.

'BACK TO YOUR CAGE, SLAY and don't forget where those OLD TIMES lead'!!!!

AF today! Another urge bites the dust...

              Hey Slay,

Well done - that's good. That's showing loads of strength, even if you don;t feel strong enough to be there for any longer or to be there with old drinking buddies, tonight you did it. Tomorrow? Tomorrow i reckon you'll wake up a happier person.

Keep it up, we're there with you.

I thought I was done with my slayer visualizations, but I may have to revive it again. I had no desire to drink until I saw those 'pub friends' and it started to twitch stronger and stronger. I want that day when I can go places and just have a soda or any non alcoholic drink and not have the urge for a drink or that buzz. It may be even tougher this time around. We'll see how that plays out. Must be something buzzing around my mind I need to attack and take down.

I hope you have an enjoyable peaceful AF weekend away, RC.

                :l

                Love,

                Slay
