2.5 days af free and then bought a litre of wine tonight...
Bad day at work...thought I could hold out longer than this. Only time I didn't drink everyday was when I was pregnant and nursing my 2 children. Feel like crap now, felt so good for two days. Oh well guess, guess there is always tomorrow to make things right.Tags: None

Hi Lex, and :welcome: to MWO.
You sound like you want to quit for good. Have a look at the toolbox and jump onto the newbies nest thread. There are lots in the first stage of their quit.
The initial week is hard but it gets easier.
Bad days at work will still happen but sober you will just shrug them off and chalk it down to life.
Good luck

Stop.
You do not need to drink the whole bottle.AF Since July 27, 2012:jumpin:

Lexylu,
Don't feel too discouraged. I am in your exact place and was considering going to the store to do just the same thing. I had just gone through a very emotional doctor's appointment. I say use this as a learning lesson...or if they are available maybe you could get one of the single serving bottles that holds a glass, decide to drink that and then move on to other activities. You could go exercise or one time I even just starting pulling up my old carpet in my room- worked through the craving and redirected my thoughts.
Just keep going, you can do it! ( I like to use the melody from Finding Nemo's Just keep swimming for the mantra)

Hope you won't drink too much of the liter. Then tomorrow is a new day. I like the saying "this too shall pass." For whatever bad situation there is.Alcoholic (or Ally)
