      As a plan for stopping, 'Just stop!' is excellent, but what about a plan for staying stopped? That's the trickier bit And I agree, if you need to MWO is a brill place to vent!

        I have to say, the one thing I never became was mean. I have always been a very happy drunk. Probably because I was trying to hide my unhappiness. I find my sober days ugly.

          i see your point i can normally stop when i decide to its just the wheels fall off when i have had a shitty day or need a `out` and its normally after a while of being of the booze and all is going well and i say are F%^k it i dont need to be on the wagon, and get back on it !

          i have had 3 months off last year but honestly believe 12 months will give me a good break to create new habits i am actually thinking of starting sunday this week as a sober calm xmas appeals more than a hungover one
