Wow, do I feel good!

I am leaving and this is my last night here, Just a thought, if you went, lets say 30 days without drink, your body would repair ( sinus problems, gastrointestinal, lethargy, bloating in your face and belly, no redness in your face, no dead eyes that need visine in the am, your mind would be clearer than you ever remember (you will remember every comment that was made the night before, your children will as well, when you tuck them in, you won't have to brush your teeth or put a mint in your mouth (they know)...
You can be a complete person, parent, anything you ever wanted. In the mornings, you smell the flowers again, the freshly cut grass, the coffee at Starbucks, you walk with a spring in your legs, you take the stairs instead of the elevator, you are Happy to see your workmates.
If you are a stay at home person, you will want to exercise, it is not a burden, you put make up on and feel good about how you look, no more bags or darks spots under eyes, hair looks more vibrant, weight comes down.
People will begin to tell you, wow you are looking great, have you lost weight? Did you get work? (oh don't answer that one, just smile). You will feel like 15. Even 1 or 2 drinks, takes all of this away form you. don't trust me: Google "The Biological effects alcohol has on the body" by Oregan medical school. It lays it out. It's somewhat like adding a little aresenic to your body every day, just a little. Then, cumalately, it wreaks its havoc.
You are a fairly young girl, I surmise. Stop now and look great for the next 30 years. Moderate, and look older than your mother in 5 or 10 years.
Like I said. I have no agenda, I just hate to see someone as intellegent as you, striving to moderate. What a waist of energy and a bunch of bilarky. I find people actually look at me with respect when I just order a coke or such. Because, WE are in control,, they are not.
I may never speak with you again as I have totally pissed off the owner of this room. If you ever need anything, you can find me at WQD forum and it has my E mail.

Also, while I like to think I'm intelligent, my sister who is a Doctor in Forensic Psych, has tested my IQ and I am slap bang on average - lol. As I said in another post, good luck with what you decide is right for you. It's so great that there are options, and I am really grateful for MWO and the research that RJ has shared. I believe that I'm on my way into changing the way I view alcohol and that moderation is a viable option for *me*. Yeah, you're a preachy kind of guy but if you do some reading up on RJ's research and philosophy, I think it could open up some doors for you as it has for so many others here, and then you can decide for yourself what is going to work for you. I can really see your ambivalence towards abs/mods, and I can relate to it all too well. I hope to see you around, with at least some MWO philosophy knowledge and support of that philosophy, because I do enjoy your passion for the subject.
