    Hey Guys

It's been 6 months of pure hell since my beautiful brother died in that car crash.
I medicated off and on with Al, sometimes more than others.
I am still reeling, and I still have so many unanswered questions. I feel like part of my body is missing and I cry all the time.

But lately, not drinking. I overdid it last week and I remembered "Oh yeah, this is why I don't drink" through a fuzzy hangover.

Now I just kind of appreciate that I don't have to drink.... just because my heart is slashed, I don't need to do any more damage. I like waking up sober. I like that the drinking dreams have returned because that mens it has been awhile since I had my last drink. I like not stopping at the liquor store.

    One less thing.

I'm back and giving it a go sober.

Hope everyone is doing well. I see a lot of new faces, and that's great! Let's kick some alcohol ass.

              Hey Guys

              Hi Nursie,

Glad to see you checking in again. I've never corresponded with you, altho I did see your posts, and wanted to give you my sincere sympathy at the loss of your brother.
at least now your fog of sorrow is beginning to lift a little bit, so welcome back. Perhaps continuing to live your life fully, to feel the breeze upon your face, will be a good way to honor him. Hugs. FFp

                Nurse I've missed you. :l

Thought of you often and our struggle. You are VERY strong and handling this well IMO. Your brothers passing was extremely hard. I remember you posts.

So glad you are back with us. :l

                        Hey Guys

Ahhhh, so nice to see all my old friends.
                        I think it's day 6 for me.
Feeling good. Craving junk food like crazy. Low energy level but I haven't really bounced back from my brother's death though.
I am doing well at work, but it takes all my strength. So when I get home I literally sit and do homework and watch tv. (And drank)
My house is such a mess I don't even know where to start.
Oh! And I'm having a LOT of trouble sleeping!
I should get back on some supplements.

                            Hey Guys

So I had a full week and week end alcohol free!
No cravings yet. I'm still pretty disgusted with how bad it got again. Especially since alcohol is what took by brother from me.
It's a strange phenomena really. How we seek what has hurt is the very most.
                            Anyway, happy Monday everyone!
