Pauly that was one expensive beer. YIKES!
Understandable...still having panic attacks in the night. It's crazy how it effects us and our nervous system. We don't have a perfect system for justice, so some fear is justified. Smart people are hard to catch. He is very very aware now of what this means to him and will be on his best guard no doubt.

Have a nice evening. Think I'll go relax in a few.

Hi Dottie.....I'm having the same urge right now too. Trying to wait it out, as others have said it will pass. How are you doing? I've had 2 cups of tea, so don't want more. Just had some l-glut and hope that works

            Hi, everyone:

            just got back from work....

yeah, love watching movies, watch netflix to pass time instead of drinking..

and playing video games! plants v zombies, peggles, fairway solitaire (an iphone/facebook game), and others.

            reading... love reading....

Okay now.....I think I've beaten AL back down! Feeling much more confident now. Also nibbled on some cashews and potato chips.....and I never usually do that. But the cranberry drink was a good replacement.
Also coming and posting here helped with the distraction.

THANK YOU my dear Slay. Believe it or not my best friend has suffered somthing very similar to you. I have been with her for nearly five years. She lost her children to this man mainly because she too drank to deal with her situation. She is almost three years sober and I am very proud of her. She is stronger, more compassionate, more together than anyone I know. I will PM. Matt is weighing on my mind. He is here all the time now and I received the court stuff last week. My baby...:upset:

Caper...your words are so wonderful to me. :l I don't fee very wise but the strength of all of you keeps me inspired.

Thank you for your prayers. They do help :l

Well done Dottie & New Day, keep it up I'm impressed.

I slept a lot better last night as my body gets used to less booze, back on 4 ciders at night time, glad to see the back of Xmas, never thought I would say that. Goal is 2 ciders.

Pauly, I've witnessed the same going into old drinking pubs, same people looking totally bored and only their cause they cant see ANY WAY OUT, Xmas was different but you only get that once a year and next day it aint worth it.

Slay, My heart goes out to you, I know where you're coming from when you say you still love him after all he's done, it's amazing how difficult it is to let go. Just be careful with him.

Rain and wind in England this weekend so am keeping busy today by currying the last of the turkey, dog wont go out in the rain but never mind footballs on.

Hooray for you! Waiting it out, getting some exercise, walking, going to bed, anything to get through the craving. The way you feel the next morning is worth it. I often found that using a substitute drink in my "drinking glass" was helpful.

Yes you can do this Dottie. No more 3am wake ups with your heart racing and feeling like you're burning up. Stay strong.

Thank you all for your love and compassion on this forum. It really does help. I had a rough day with police follow ups and witnesses. I will be back with positive thoughts soon. Need some sleep and meditative thoughts after this long day of struggles. Hang tough with all your struggles. We can beat all that life throws at us one day at a time. Don't let the negative thoughts get you down. The positive is waiting around the corner because you have it in you to beat your demons and those who fight against you.

                              Love,
