A special call out for anyone who needs it.

A "dry drunk" who is unhappy wont last......a switch to the positive side is what is needed. It has to be more of "I chose NOT to drink, rather than I CAN'T drink".
I'm not certain where I fall in that spectrum of dry vs content: I'm very unhappy but not that I can't drink...unhappy that I know no matter what, drinking will fix zippo and make things worse...:upset:

      Kradle -

I think you're unhappy that there's no more "quick fix". That pissed me off too in the beginning. As I got more sober time under my belt, there became less and less to fix. You're doing so good, keep hanging in there! :h
:heart:I love my daughter more than alcohol:heart:

Believe in yourself. You are stronger than you think.

One thing that helped me in the beginning when my witching hour was near was pulling up those RAIN IN MY HEART docs that are posted here...I think in the General Section.

Those stories and the absolute power of seeing it first hand were a real deterrent..

        Stay close,

Yes please stay close and watching RAIN IN MY HEART will surely help you! Look thru the meds threads too. I couldn't find my forever SOBER without them.
