Update:
Day 1 of tapering - felt awful, shaking, retching the lot. Reached for the wine a little later than usual and drank less than usual. Slept for 2 hours.
Day 2 - felt a bit better. Bit of shaking, vomited, anxious, couldn't think straight. Held off drinking for 8 hours longer than usual. Drank less than the day before. 1 hours sleep.
Day 3 - felt better in the morning. No vomiting, less anxious, bit clearer in the head. Held off drinking for 10 hours longer than usual. I hope I get some sleep tonight.
