I feel very ashamed but I promised myself I would be truth and not truthiness. I told my boss I desperately needed a vacation, now if possible, as I was dealing w/ a lot of stress and trying to address some health issues (alcohol abuse...). I also confessed I was worried b/c of the hair loss. He looked at my head and said I was being silly. He didn't see anything wrong. !!!

got weak. got wine. had a glass but off to bed to keep from finishing the rest... I guess that's a small step. But how funny one comment can send you spinning. Guess it's a wake up call to the newbie.
