    Starting out again :(

    Here I am again the battle continues - I have so much to fight for, a gorgeous little girl and 4 week old baby Boy, yet i've slipped up again :upset: so sad and fed up right now. Really cant continue like this

    Welcome back. Yes you do have so much to fight for. Maybe make it about surrendering to the fact that Alcohol is poison and it can kill you and ruin all that is good in your life.
    I know this sounds a bit airy fairy but I am learning it is easier to surrender than it is to fight..
    I like to think of it as trying to row a boat up stream. It is much easier to accept and go as the river flows. I know quiting alcohol is not easy and I am a newbie here with only nine days AF. If I can do it I am sure you can find the way out...

      I see you have been doing battle for a long while. Have you tried meds. I could not stay sober til I discovered baclofen. It took the overwhelming compulsion to drink away! "sigh"...WHAT A RELIEF!!!
      Sober since Sept. 24th 2012 This time 4 SURE!

        The most important thing is that you are back again.

        As the ever so wise hippyman said have you seen your doc?
        If drinking is interfering with your work, you're probably a heavy drinker. If work is interfering with your drinking, you're probably an alcoholic.
