    day 11

Hey all, I cando this on my iPhone.
Yippie. It is going to be a long day of traveling.
Lots of time for reflection and planning how to be AF
While I am away. None of my siblings have an
Issue with daring so that is a positive thing for me.
They all know of the quest I am on so they will
    Be supportive.

    Thank you all.

rednose, I am right there with you on Day 11......its good that your family knows. Based on my experience, anytime I am outside of my normal routine, it gets harder to not drink....almost like I pretend it isn't really me that is drinking since I am away.....know what I mean? Anyway, stay strong. I will be thinking of you outside of your routine while I spend today outside of mine!! Stressful day ahead for me....spending the day in NYC with a limitless expense budget = not a good place for me right now....can't wait for it to be over and for me to be safely back home with no alcohol in my system.....I feel confident that I can do it, it just won't be fun. But SO WORTH IT.....
      I just won't anymore

        Jenn,
Thanks for the post. You be careful and safe out
There. One drink is not worth blowing 11 days.
Hey we are closing in on 14 days
But I do understand about being away. It's almost like
Who will ever know???? We would.

        Thanks rednose

          EXACTLY....WE WOULD KNOW.
It is time for this alcoholic to grow up and be accountable. I am ready and very willing. I mean, really, I am 49.....why would I want to continue drinking my life down the drain?
I have friends in their 50s....that seems to be the decade when all of your past sins catch up to you. One friend is a HUGE drinker...he now has congestive heart disease, diabetes, and the list goes on. He almost DIED last year. Yet, he is still drinking and smoking. I refuse to be that stupid. I don't want to die.

LIfe is too precious and I love life too much. Alcohol is POISEN for me.
Sorry to get on the soapbox....I couldn't control myself
          I just won't anymore

              Hi all,
Made it to Portland ,Oregon ok.
Was getting something to eat and counted 5 people
              At the bar drinking beer.
I have done a lot of drinking in my days but I don't
Think I could choke down a beer at 6 am.
Who knows if they have drinking problems or not.
I am not one to be judging anyone's drinking that is
              For sure.
Glad it is not me drinking at 6 am or at all these
              Days.
So here I am able to check in on my phone.
              Yahoo.
              Thanks for being here.

Five or 6 days. In Boston taking the train to Portland Maine.
I used to do some drinking here waiting for the train.
                        Not today. AF
