Hi all,
Well I am in Maine during the worst storm in 25 years.
I am seeing my mom and sisters.
I have another day under my belt AF.
Looks like I am going to spend a bunch of time
Cooped up in doors.
Feeling strong and positive about my goal of 14 days

Thanks for all the support and encouragement.....Saw my mom today. She was having one of her good days ate well talked to us and was laughing when we had to leave to get home.
Feeling good about not drinking. I have noticed this little guy whispering in my ear saying oh come on you can have one drink. You don't have a problem with alcohol, it was the b---h you lived with.
Well I told the little man to go bugger off and leave me alone.

So all is well in Maine and it is not a huge storm yet.
I thhink the weather people like the hype and attention.

Well done Red,

Those lying voices are only your poor damaged brain that doesn't know WTF is happening and crying for the 'normality' of alcohol.

It is like a kid that doesn't know that more candy will make it vomit......well YOU know and have to help the child in you learn....NO means NO.

Try and do something nice with your kid today ( and everyday) to make up for not giving in to the tantrum over alcohol.

Yes I know that little kid is throwing a tantrum.
I also know he is scared and need attention and
