He is incredibly soft!!! They are known for their fur. They were going extinct because they were hunted to make coats out of their fur.

Here is a photo of him hiding after he took a few bites out of my television cord and I told him he would make a good coat if he didn't behave. LOL!! Kidding, of course. I'd draw my sword on anyone who tried to hurt my little kid.

I couldn't find him one day...this is where he turned up.:H

Slay I love that you shared pictures of Little Chewy. It's more than the pictures though....it was that you took the time to share the joy and comfort that he has brought you. I honestly don't know what I would do without my Maggie.....my heart just swells over with love for her. My friends often tease me about how obsessed I am for her, and I am ok with that.

Morning Oneredshoe! I wanted a puppy, but I can't have one where I live. I had to opt for a caged animal. Here is a photo of a puppy I had for a few days that I was nursing back to health until a home could be found. I fell in love with him very quickly and was sad to let him go. He was a rascal, too. I seem to fall for the 'badboy' rascal types. lol My guess is he had a mix of Jack Russel and Chihuahua. Once he started feeling better...oh lord!

Since Chinchillas remind people of squirrels, I'll add some of my squirrel photographs to the mix.

Chinchillas remind people of squirrels, so I've added a few photos I have taken of squirrels that hang around that I feed. Squirrels and chipmunks are quite entertaining to observe.

Oh my gosh that little puppy is cute! I can see why you fell in love with him so quickly and why you were sad to part with him. When I adopted my Maggie she was very ill, it took 4 months to nurse her back to good health, she was a trooper though. Now she has so much energy and one heck of a personality. :H. She keeps me on my toes.

Slay I read your post over in the newbies nest....I am sorry that you are going through so much with your current situation, and so happy that you are starting to find some peace. You are so strong and you are doing it all free of alcohol. You go girl! Stay away from the "bad boy" rascal types they are no good. :H:H:H. I hope you are having a wonderful day, I will be checking in on you throughout the day, hang tough! Sending you love, oh and give little Chewy a little scratch behind the ears from me.

Thank you, oneredshoe. You have a sweet soul.:l Chewy shook his head and ran off when I tried to scratch his ears. His middle name is Rascal...Chewy Rascal. He certainly is! As FA calls him, 'Chewy the Architect' is remodeling my home. lol

I hope this reply finds you in good 'spirits'. :l:h

Pauly, hope you are doing well, too, and making progress on feeling more content. It takes work...soul searching and more work.

                    Love,

                    Slay
