Have you found the Newbies Nest? It is a good place to start out. The link is in my signature.
If you read back a couple weeks, you'll get to know the people there and then when you feel like it, you could post and let us get to know you.
There also is a toolbox link -- you'll find several strategies there for getting free of alcohol.
Have you figured out the avatar? You should see this when you click on User CP:
Control Panel
Settings & Options
Edit Signature
Edit Email & Password
Edit Profile
Edit Options
Edit Avatar
Edit Profile Picture
Then you should be able to choose your avatar or upload a photo.
