    Did anyone feel the same?

I felt so relieved and joyful at the beginning, but now I am left with a, now what feeling. It's very bizarre because I left cured and I WAS convinced my drinking days were over.. but now, I am beginning to doubt my commitment.
I feel hangovered, bored, fed up. But you guys are right, I need a hobby!! My only "hobby" for over 25 years was drinking, so I've never had a hobby in my life! I did everything drunk..! But I can't drink anymore, so WTF am I going to do now? Oh man!! I am going insane!! If I keep feeling like this I am going to AA.. I am definitely NOT off the hook yet...
Does it get better with time? Maybe in a month or so?
YES ......it gets better. Hang in there.......join a gym, join anything

Yes it does get better! You have to learn how to just "be" with yourself. Give it more time.

Yes, it does. I also try to put myself into the service of others. It doesn't take long to see that there are a heck of a lot of other people out there with MUCH WORSE problems than mine. Take your dog to an old folks home...or visit an animal shelter. Volunteer somewhere...make a difference in someone else's life. Taking the focus off yourself and onto to helping someone else has made all the difference for me.
It does get better...it is a temporary phase. Byrdie

Yes without a doubt , if it didn't how many people would stay sober. Now your really living, really feeling and it takes time to learn how to deal with these feeling sober, you will have more free time on your hands now , so now it's time to make another change and a hobby is a good suggestion but do what ever works for you, you won't know until you try.
I once read on here that stopping drinking is the easy part , staying stopped is the hard part and it's true for a while then over time it stops been hard and becomes second nature.
