Day 19 for the 311 gang
Morning, all. I survived last night, but I mean barely survived. Received good news and I felt so great, but so empty without my "reward." The alcohol I always reasoned was justified to me because of my good behavior in aspects of my daily living. Last night was tough and I was at a loss on how to feel good by just feeling good. Going for a walk now to help clear the mind.

Day 19 for the 311 gang
Good morning! Still here.....
Hang in there halfway.
Hope everyone has a nice, AF weekend. I intend to.
Going to a casino tonight with a friend...normally good gambling and AL fun with free drinks....we will see how this turns out, but I have no intention of drinking anything beyond a coke.
Happy Friday!AF since 3/12/13.
Completed over a year AF and fell off the wagon.
Back to it, new day 1= 7/1/14
I'm on my way.

Day 19 for the 311 gang
Last straw,
I am fine today. Last night I didn't quite know how to celebrate something I was very proud of accomplishing at my job. I didn't drink, but I would say that I hit a wall of depression. Just trying to figure it all out, you know? Hope things are going well for you.

Day 19 for the 311 gang
Halfway, can totally relate to your feelings, just remember we are here together because we are UNABLE to celebrate with AL, because for us AL will end up causing us so much despair and havoc in our lives that there may be nothing ever to celebrate again. It's a Catch 22..
Our path is difficult but I just keep reminding myself it's necessary. Very proud of your work success, it's an awesome feeling when we are able to accomplish our goals. We are going to feel great and we will celebrate our 30 days of being AF, I'm thinking an afternoon at the spa! Sending you good vibes...On a mission, and the only option is success. My family and I deserve a better life, an AF life.:h

Day 19 for the 311 gang
Hi all, just popping in quickly to let you know I am back (22 hours in transit), followed by 12 hours of sleeping. Ready to start another AF day.
Halfway -- good for you for remaining strong. I know the feeling of wanting to reward yourself with a glass of wine. Learning how to "be" happy, sad, excited, mad -- whatever emotion--without alcohol is a process.
