    Great job, Bimble

Just take it a day at a time. Make it manageable . Put together a series of these happy 'only one day' mornings and at some point, it will just click -- you'll be done with AL and determined to do whatever it takes to lead an AF life!

Each day - each minute - you do this, you are changing your brain to be one of a non-drinker. And change is what we need!

Congratulations and stay close this weekend :h NS

PS I just posted elsewhere, if no one seems to be around, just go back and read earlier posts in a thread like the Newbies Nest. Different people, same problems and needs...

Isn't that THE BEST feeling, Bimble, waking up and thinking, 'wow, I didn't drink yesterday or last night!!"

One day is huge and so proud of you :goodjob:

Like NoSugar said, Stay close now...the weekends can get a bit tricky

YAY Congratulations! Isnt it a great feeling? Today will be day 3 AF ( im not going to say IF i make it thru tonight) i woke up this morning and i remembered everything, I washed my face before bed, brushed my teeth, read books to my kids.. I think it was K9 sometime ago, that said " nobody ever wakes up in the morning and wishes they had drank the night before" I kept myself busy last night, and when i was thinking about running out for some wine, i remembered that.. and it helped, because its the absolute truth. I hope that helps you along the way too, see you at the newbies nest!

I can get that I am off and running, you have cracked the hardest day so
grab it and keep it close, I am so happy for you.

Day one is THE hardest! Treat every day like a new adventure, tackle each new feeling by the moment and know that each day is different but easier.......if it wasn't no one could do this.

Good one Kuya, you always say something a little different yet inspiring. I like adventure!! I will take your advice and use it on myself.
