      Welcome back Rednose. I made it 2 years because I had a support system and a plan. A lot of us think we can control our drinking even before we make it to 30 days. Now that you see that you like most people here can't moderate, welcome to abstaining. It may be tough especially in the beginning, but it does get better. Now at 2 years I go days without thinking about it, days without wanting it, and when I do crave, they last so short and I can easily beat them.

      You can do it! Take it ODAAT.
      I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.

      Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.

      Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.
