Do I need to taper off?

I'm now convinced that total abstinence is the way for me. I tried TSM/Naltrexone and did not like the side effects. I convinced myself that I could drink in moderation socially, only to end up binging and getting wasted. I have been drinking heavily for the last 3-4 years, so I have come to the conclusion that I need to quit completely and forever.

I am worried about quitting cold turkey since I've tried that before and get really bad headaches and rise in BP and heart rate. I can control the BP with medication but the heart rate stays pretty high. I'm drinking a 32 oz beer today and that's it, hoping to have nothing tomorrow and maybe another beer on thursday if I feel the headaches. Any suggestions? Or should I just go cold turkey?

    Thanks

This is a choice only you can make as it depends on a lot of factors.

Do you have supplements to help?

You need large dose vit b and glutamine at the least IMO.

You can take 1500 to 3000 mg, I don't think there is an upper limit. Use it, it works!
