Thanks for your support it has helped me so much all along this road.

Today I'm feeling pretty sad. My brother who was diagnosed with liver cancer 2.5 years ago and given 3 years to live seems to be doing worse. He was over last night puking for an hour. I feel so helpless and so sad. I wish I'd found MWO earlier and could have steered him this way. He's had all the treatment they're interested in giving him. We are now looking at alternatives. Hemp oil is looking like a good idea. Has anyone ready about Rick Simpson and Phoenix Tears? Very interesting. Makes a lot of sense that the pharmaceutical companies aren't really willing to pursue it because they make more money fighting cancer and producing the chemo drugs than they would if a cure was found.

Anyway I think last night it hit home. He isn't getting better and unless we find the miracle cure he will die from this. He's 18 months younger than me. I am so very sad.

June, I'm so very sorry about your brother. I go to a naturopath that believes in low dose chemo and other alternative medicines. See if you can find a good naturopath in your area. I'll be thinking about all of you.

He's been on the oil for a week now and says he is very sleepy (they told us that would happen) but he feels the pain is subsiding. Good news! We have hope!

Last night I binged on Turtles ice cream before bed. Had a stomach ache trying to sleep. Woke up feeling guilty and making promises to myself to stop. This is way too familiar.

Did two yoga classes and eating well today. It is a new day, no need to hold on to yesterday, right? It's different with food and AL, you can get AL out completely, but you still have to eat.

No Worries, 3J. If you have to slip up and go for a weakness, ice cream is definitely the healthier of the two choices! I must confess that I have ice cream almost every night, now, without guilt.
