    oh my god daily wine!!!! I just re read my post and I mean we will celebrate the big 30 with you at the end of the month not the big 0!! :H These 30 days are yours !

              Welcome back, Gardener!

              I hope you stick with us every day throughout the month - that seems like the best way to get this done and most importantly, stay quit! Starting over is hard so stay close!

                I am in. May not post a lot but I do plan to have July be another af month.
                I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.

                Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.

                Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.

                  Thanks NoSugar for the welcome back. All through my attempted taper I followed this forum but didn't feel right posting while still drinking.

                  I'm feeling it now though. So excited to feel so committed and I do plan on checking in with you guys everyday.

                  4th of July Cookout with husband and grandkids, then boat ride with fireworks that evening, weather permitting. Plan B is The Lone Ranger with pan fried burgers. Really looking to a family celebration without my old friend AL.

                  Hope everyone has a fun and safe AF 4th!

                    AF July continues

                    I LOVE the ear muff idea halo!!! I think it would be a riot to wear a pair of ear muffs to a 4th of July party!!!! I am going to be giggling all month as I have this vision wearing big fluffy pink ear muffs!! :H

                    July is going to hold GREAT AF memories. Freedom is KEY!
                    Put your hands over your heart - and tell yourself that you are going to guard this essence of who you are with everything. Alcohol opens us up to darkness and depression instantly. You choose love today. Guard it by keeping the poison out of your body. It IS poison.

                        Happy July 3 all!

                        Anyone have big plans for the 4th? My husband and I are going to the beach tonight for a long weekend. It will be hot and humid I'm sure - but I'll try to lather up with sunscreen and hang out in the ocean a lot. I'm also planning long walks on the beach early in the morning. Something I could never do when drinking!

                        I'm really starting to love my AF life - I love my coffee and I love waking up early - I finally even lost a pound! Lol - I'm finally kicking sugar to the curb this month also so maybe I'll lose some weight finally!

                        Hope everyone has a great AF day - I agree with 3June - here's to the best summer ever!

                          Celebrate this 4th of july weekend Independent from AL, wear ear muffs if you have to or as Byrdie and Lav keep reminding us to achieve success have a plan!!! Sending lots of good vibes your way,:l.

                          Made it through Canada Day AL, brought my own drinks with me every where I went, and a good sense of humour, had a blast ! Happy 4th of July weekend everyone!

                              AF since 3/12/13.


                              Completed over a year AF and fell off the wagon.
                              Back to it, new day 1= 7/1/14
