    Actually life isn't the same sober, it comes with a lot less complications like not having to do all the horrid drinking behaviours.
    I used the Sinclair Method to beat my alcoholic drinking.

    Drank within safe limits for almost 2 years

      True enough, and well said... I don't miss being mortified by the previous night's drunken behaviors and having to pick up the pieces.

        I have to agree it isnt the same you wake up with a free mind knowing exactly what you did last night ....not wondering if you have to appoligise to any one

                Speaking of not remembering things.....Something was brought to my attention yesterday that happened some time ago and I had completely forgotten about it because I had been drinking....how embarassing! So glad I don't have to worry that anymore.

                        Good Morning Guys....

                        WE....It is good not to have to worry. To be honest, I was completely freaked out by this yesterday because it was something serious and it was like I never heard it before. Absolutely Ridiculous!

                        Well, it looks like the summer is coming to a slow end and we will start a thread for September. Although I don't get to post as much as I would like, I truly enjoy checking in on this thread. You guys are an amazing support system.

                        Hope everyone has a great AF Thursday....thank God it's almost Friday!!!!!!

                          Thanks for the kind comments, Free. Dealing with things lately as a newly sober person has been challenging but I knew that was coming. Hard as it is, I know it's worth it.

                            Hey SBL, great job on 2 weeks!
                            It is challenging to deal with things without a crutch but being AF gives you such confidence, I think that overall it is easier. Self-doubt makes decision-making almost impossible!

                                you could be right samstone 3 mths 31st aug and june 3 is just behind me
