    Crashed off the wagon

After almost 6 months of sobriety, July 4th weekend proved too much so i caved . I went on a 2 week bender purely out of guilt & frustration, sort of mourning my loss. I do feel defeated at this very moment but i rely on my tenacious resolve to take my life back again and not listen to the lies from the pits of hell. Day 1 again for Lizker.

HI Liz! Sorry for the fall, but it's good you're back on the right track. I've been very bad lately, too. Let's do it together, OK?
Well it's all right now. I've learned my lesson well. You see you can't please everyone, so you've got to please yourself.

Liz....don't listen to the lies because you can do this.....you did it before and you can do it again. The good news is that you know what the consequences are, so you are less likely to fall into the trap again.

Liz and Siren.....why don't you guys join us in the August group? We just started so you can come along with the rest of us. We can do this and it helps if we stick together.

        Hey Liz
I'm glad you brushed yourself off and got back on that horse. Each time you do, you know you're back in control. You will succeed.

            Hi Liz!
I'm glad to see you back. You're not defeated, you just got sidetracked like most of us have (I did, MANY times). The good thing is you realize what hell alcohol really is, and so now you're here to take charge of your life again. I know you can do this. Stick close to us and keep us posted on how you're doing. Jump into the Nest and the August groups!

                  Hi,

We only fail when we give up trying.

You can do this again and win

                  Much love Flossie xx

Lizker, sounds like you'vegot the courage to make it, rootin for ya.
Success is making yourself do the thing you need to do, when you need to do it, whether you like it or not.

Hi Liz, try not to beat yourself up for your relapse. Keep your eyes on what you want not what you did. Coming down hard on yourself, in my experience, only makes it more likely that you will drink again. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.

K9lover, thank you for that. You have been thro alot and still came out on top. Truly an inspiration.
Neferkermichal, Neddy.....appreciate your well wishes...Day 1 didn't go so well...ended up missing work yesterday because of a hangover. I am getting my asernal (spinach, broccolli, blue berry, omegas, protein shake mix, lean meats) ready so i can start over. My gym membership is still active. I intend to spend alot of time there.
