    Lighbulb moment

Thanks wine-no, you are pretty awesome yourself! Hadit, I never want to be that wreck of a woman I was when drinking. I am going to be sober, warts and all, but I don't want to hurt anyone in the process.

Neddy, thank you! :l I am so glad to have my pal back on the site posting, I missed you loads! xx

BH, none of us are perfect, but from what I've witnessed, you've been wonderful here. Yes we can all get a little cross at times, drinking or not. that's who we are. Maybe your friend was just having a bad day as well. Hold that head up.

Sorry BH for just now getting around to posting on this topic. In my short time on this website, you have been nothing but supportive, caring and just plain nice!. There isn't much I can add that hasn't already been said. Is this friend AF too? Or, does he/she want to be? Maybe to Byrdie's point, there is some jealousy here. Don't want to make excuses for anyone's behavior without knowing the context or details, but please don't be so hard on yourself. Living with al in our lives, yes, we say things we don't mean or things get blown out of proportion. AL intesifies emotions and before you know it conversations spiral out of control. But, that doesn't mean that because we are now AF, we can't speak our mind either. If it's a friendship that's one of your top 5, then maybe have a heart to heart; If it's an acquaintance, your call; if it's parsley, move on.

        We think you're wonderful!:l
