Moss - I am so happy you were able to just go to sleep. Like I said before, you are so lucky to have found MWO while you are going through this difficult time. I wish I had this support 10 years ago while I was going through my divorce....it would have saved me so much time and regret.

Thanks for reaching out to me with a few PM's Moss Rose. I had no idea you were going through the turmoil of letting yourself and your son down. I know exactly how you feel as I've done that recently myself and feel like such loser when all is said and done. Your group of friends on here are an amazing bunch and have said all the truths that need to be said. I have a good feeling about you. You are at the beginning of a new and exciting part of your life.

The way I felt during the early days of my divorce over 18 years ago was that I had to walk through a scary, dark, lonely forest in order to get to the beautiful river on the other side: it's called grieving. It does get better and sons DO forgive and forget. They love their Moms and want to mend things just as much as you do.

I hope to spend more time getting you know you better. After Labour Day weekend, I'll be back on the boards more regularly as I am hosting a huge family reunion this weekend and life restarts after that.

I feel confident that you are in good hands here at MWO and are going to make it in the sober world. I am certain as a matter of fact. You have what it takes.
