Does anyone live in the Houston Katy area who knows a doc who will prescribe Topamax? My doctor is not very approachable. I'm ready to start but the cd's and the All One have not arrived yet.:new:

I know most people would want to get the topa from a doctor. Mine wouldn't prescribe it to me so I took matters into my own hands and ordered it off the internet. I had no problems, but that is me, not you.

This is a very serious decision to make and you must think about it carefully. You will have no immediate medical backup, so will have to have read up on all the side effects before you start.
It should be your body and your health that are upmost for you. You and only you can decide whether it is right for you to order this kind of drug on the internet, without a doctor backing you up.
Whatever you decide, I hope you find a way for you and your body to leave the alcohol alone.

I am 49 and have some health issues that make me hesitant to take it without medical supervision. I'm also in peri menopause which makes me unable to discern all the weired things happening in my body, but I will consider just ordering it and then telling my doctor about it. The thing is, I just moved here and am not established very well with any physician. I've only seen the nurse for prescriptions but the doc is very conservative, I know this because my husband sees her.
