Its times like this that give us the motivation to power on.

I recently went to a concert.....what do you know....I remember the whole thing! I was tired the next day.....but....you are so right...it is a different kind of tired....so freaking different!

Lifetime....I have not even turned on since quitting!

I'm here Sparkles...thanks for checking. I posted on some other threads earlier. We were so busy yesterday....had company from out of town. Went to lunch on the water and what do you know.....all of us ordered coke! Now that's a first. I expected my husband, his nephew and my step son to all order beers.

It's amazing that those nasty little "just one" thoughts creep up in our head. Last night I was cooking....major trigger....and I started thinking about how nice a glass of wine would be. I remembered a post I read over the weekend that said to wait 15 minutes and so I did and the thought went away.

We need to pick another drink that takes the place of wine! I bought some Welch's pineapple, mango juice and mixed it with sparkling water....it was pretty good. I also bought some fresh mint so I will try something different tonight.

I am not getting over-confident. Last night was a slight close call!

i just try to avoid the carbs in all that fruit juice but yeah i like the carbonation and so what are a few carbs there is like a million in a whole bottle of wine ! i have saved so many carbs this past week and lost a couple of pounds.
Have a great day Miley !

                        Miley -
I am also glad to be free of having to make the decision of WHICH liquor store to go to on the way home (didn't want to look like an alkie you know!). You'd be suprised how much time I'd actually spend thinking/planning my stop on the way home. Now I just go home!

I still watch LT movies, but this time I really do feel like I'm relaxing because I'm aware of what's going on and I don't have to make any mad dashes to the bathroom for some dry heaving!
:heart:I love my daughter more than alcohol:heart:
