    Quick note from me that I am proceeding with AF September. Two more days of this consulting gig and then I am home for three days before boarding another plane. The life of a road warrior, I am afraid. But, I'm committed to a joyous AF September.

        Good luck Pyes but do it for yourself too. Does the day really matter. I found any day ending in a Y was a good drinking day.

            Good Morning Everyone.....another beautiful day, although it is cool. Slept well last night, got up and went to the gym at 5:30 and ready to head to the office. Hope everyone has a great, AF, hump day!

              I woke up with a stomach bug and wasn't feeling good but I was grateful I could say that it wasn't because of AL.
              Miley, one of the best things about not drinking to me is knowing exactly what's going on with my body. Before, I could never be sure. Of course, that's just one of a million things that's better, but it's an important one. Be well!

              Available - me too up until I got on the road to being AF.

              Free, keep your guard up - traveling and business meetings are stressful!

              Have a great day everyone. Very committed to a sober September and feeling really good. Told a good friend yesterday that I quit (hadn't talked to her in a long time - this was definitely putting myself out there, so I'm proud of that).

                I know a thing or 2 about traveling. Sure is nice to not have to worry about spending time getting drunk (and sobering up) while missing connections, limited sleep, and important presentations all mixed together. Clear headed decisions, one of the nicest things about being sober. Today is day 160 for the year for me...proud of that

                              Hey Everyone, just checking in - doing great and so happy with the decision to remain sober! Life is better this way - not perfect, but light years better. Whenever we doubt that, it's a lie. Alcohol offers us no upside, only down in the long run!

                                Hi everyone,
                                I'd like to join this AF September group. I'm a little late but better late than never. Over the past 16 months I've been MOSTLY af but lately I've been playing with fire. I need to refocus and renew my commitment. I pledge to check in everyday.
