Where do you find the courage?

I know just how you feel rednose I to would like to find the strength to really quit
I have good intentions but still manage to start drinking again t know
maybe we can help each other i dont know if that will help
going back to day 1 again hopefully for the last time this time

Where do you find the courage?

Hey Rednose - Your post really called out to me. I don't know the answer...I keep struggling myself. Each day I wake up hungover and with strong resolve to not drink. Then by 7pm or so, I'm coming up with every excuse under the sun for "one more night". I'll quit tomorrow. So tonight is my first AF night too. Since late June which was only like a 10 day stretch.

Anyway - I wish you luck. And I think the people with some sobriety out here may be on to something. I think liquor tries to convince us that we'll be miserable without it...when in reality we're miserable with it.
