It gets easier Sparkles, there are still cravings for AL but waking up 24 days on being AF is a great feeling. It feels a lot better not being embarrassed and wondering what you did the night before, take it one day at a time, i dont think i will never drink again although deep down I know I cant but I will face that another day. Dolly steps for us newbies.

First 24 days i have done in over 15 years and god yes it feels great except for my sleeping pattern but as someone said on here that our bodies take time to heal after the damage of years of drinking and i am not thinking of AL everyday now but sometimes it hits me like a brick. My patience level is still zero but if others put up with me being a bitch for awhile that is fine as far as i am concerned lol as long as i dont drink and i am starting to feel that I wont drink every again but still working on that one.

Its all in our mind and finally after all these years I think something has clicked there. Oh the getting blind, embarrassing myself and blacking out helped immensely also.

Grrrr.. We have been doing really good. The last week or so without kids alternating nights I come home and he is already 3 drinks deep. We both have just had amazing reviews at work. I would never drink at 230 so to come home with an open bottle... I just hope the exception doesn't become the Rule. Never thought this would become the issue at hand.
