            I had strong urges last night as I was driving home from school. C.R.A.P. (Calorie Rich And Processed) was calling my name. I thought of this thread and resisted! Victory! One day at a time, as they say.

                Well resisted doggygirl. I was in a shop yesterday and was tempted by chocolate covered peanuts and peanut brittle, what on earth? I do not even like chocolate and have not eaten stuff like that in years. Must be the absence of the wine, I mentally clubbed myself over the head and moved on!

                        Gonna give it my best shot for a month. Also no wheat or grains. Green apples and grapefruit for fruits. Plenty of veggies, salads, protein and water. Want to see how my body reacts. Today tired & slight headache.

                          Well gang, in the interest of honesty and transparency-- I've been slowly letting things slide a bit sugar-wise. Just a little- basically I've let myself have strawberry or blueberry jam sweetened with sugar (I can't find a good stevia-sweetened kind). I also bought some low-calorie "Skinny Cow" ice cream sandwhiches and I've let myself indulge in 1 per day.

                          That said- I think I'm ok with that now and I'm still calling it good, since they're low-calorie and I'm eating within my macros and my calorie limit (1800 per day). Any more than this and I'll have to call myself out, though.... and I may need to tighten up as it is.

                          Who am I kidding... once I finish off the few that are in the freezer, I'm calling a ban on them. If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right, Skull!

                            This is going to be an interesting experience. Sat around at work watching everyone eating all empty calories while I ate a green apple and drank water w/fresh lime. Didn't feel like I was missing a thing. Want to lose 10% of body weight which would put me where I would say my set point is. Nutrition & No Alcohol + Exercise = Healthier Me. Looking forward to Spring!!

                                Hypernova - Day 7. I'm not feeling great b/c need too much sleep but feel like I am doing the right thing. No AL or sugar. Just nutritionally dense food. Looking forward to days ahead to see how I feel.
