        Ate some dark chocolate and raisins after dinner last night which is, of course, the slippery slope. I think I don't eat enough early in the day so I get the itch for something 'caloric' later on.

        Gotta work on that - eating breakfast. By the way allankay - like your 10k time!!

            Yep, that's a good build. I'm going for a similar look though probably I'll have to settle for a bit more bulk, since I'm a short stocky dude. That's cool though

              Yep, dark chocoalate can be an great ally. It's good for your heart and for lowering inflammation. I allow myself dark chocolate and peanut butter, and raisin/cinnamon bread (Julian Smart Carb #2 bread). Also lower-calorie jam. I make sure they fit into my calorie macros though (1800 cals/day, carbs under 150g/day, little sugar as possible), and I make sure that the dark chocolate is 85% cacao or above. It's my understanding that the lesser cacao percentages will add filler, like sugar etc.

              I also allow myself the SoDelicious Coconut milk ice cream (No sugar) in limited doses. Between all these, my sweet tooth/dessert cravings are basically satiated pretty well.

                Made me sick just watching that... I don't think I could eat that much in 24 hours let alone in 30 minutes. This sport should be called "widow maker".

                      Dang! I was hoping this would not come up!!!!

                      But time I got serious about this: so day 1 for JMum

                      Someone said we can be selfish about our drinking goals - protect ourselves and put ourselves first with sobriety or moderation - well I guess it's the same with what else we put into our bodies. I know sugar is bad!!! Boo Hooooo big time....but it is what it is.

                          Haha, hi JMum good to see you on this thread yes sugar may not be the monster that alcohol is, but they share similar destructive traits and so I'm definitely signed up for cutting out sugar as well.

                          I didn't do great on New Year's Day (day of my emotional mini-meltdown) but did good yesterday, so counting that as Day 1 and that makes today Day 2 SF (and gluten free. Jeez what CAN I have? answer: broccoli. Mmmm... broccoli.)
