Hey LC....sooo happy to see 70 days! Thank you!
I have projects tucked away all over the place that I left behind because I was drinking.
I have paintings, knitting, calligraphy, updating furniture, .......all waiting for me to get started. Ok, promise to myself this week is to make a start on just one!
Smoking is another thing that needs to be addressed.....soon.
I have purposely not put too much pressure on myself this time. In the past I have tried to do too much and everything fell apart......so taking it slow and steady.

Aw, thanks Pauly......I am with you on the sleep issue too. I do think the smoking is part of that for me. When I stopped smoking before I have been able to sleep earlier. When are you thinking of giving up? I have patches here but haven't decided when to give it a go. My sobriety comes first....

          Hi Daisy!
I wanted to second you on not putting too much pressure on.. that's been my game plan as well, as I've also often made the mistake of taking on too much and failing at everything. I'm trying to really listen to what my body is telling me...
How are you doing this week? I've had quite an emotional one so far.. but good. I'm still finding it amazing to be able to FEEL everything.. and to deal with whatever that brings..
I didn't see what you ended up deciding about the next time your sister visits? I hope that's all going alright.. Hugs to you, dear!! I think we're nearing 80!

Hi LC. Just checking in. After a busy week with the kids I was exhausted last night. Then a friend called in the evening.....she stayed for 6 hours. That is longer than a night out. We had such good craic and could have talked all night....who knew? Better than if drink was involved.
Was so tired I had a lie-in and took it easy. My daughters birthday is on Sunday so I need to go out tomorrow and sus out a birthday present.....don't know what though.
Hope you enjoy your weekend.....make the most of it....pamper yourself!

                Hi Daisy!
I've also found it actually much more fun to hang out with friends and talk without the drink.. I feel more confident, have more humour. In the end I was afraid of saying something stupid, often couldn't really follow the conversation, couldn't remember everything.. embarrassing.
How was your daughter's birthday? Did you find a nice present? Did you eat cake?
I hope you have a good week! Are you working full time now?
                xx
