Hello there,

:new: Can i purchase the vitimans and topomax in Australia? I have been a pretty heavy drinker for the past 20 years and have tried many thing to change from rehab, AA, medication, counselling and hypnosis cd's to moderate or quick. I am a typical binge drinker and basicly feel I am going to end up very ill if I do not do something. I discoved this site a while ago and have read the book. I believe I am capable of moderation as I can and do moderate, it is the regular binges that make me sick. I am over being a boozer but am fully aware I am addicted. I am wanting to give this program a go as it sounds like something that could work for me but do not know if I can get exactly what I need here as I tried a very large health food store and it was very confusing. I would think that you could get most of the vitamins online or from good healthfood shops around your local area.
It is great that you have read the book already. It is very inspirational and left me feeling that finally I had found something that just may work for me too.
I am in the United Kingdon (originally from New Zealand) and the doctors over here just do not know about topamax and how it has been used in the states as an anti craving drug. I ended up ordering my topamax from : Discount Online Pharmacy - Cheap Online Prescription Drugs - Value Pharmaceuticals

Perhaps you could just go back to your health store with a comprehensive list (and accept no substitutes) if you haven't already done that.

I responded to your post in the Topa thread, but in case you haven't seen that yet I agree with all of the above! I use the aclepsa.com site to order topa and I've found them to be fine. (But as I said in my earlier post you are probably better advised to obtain the stuff from a doctor if you can persuade one to give you a script. I know, I know, do as I say don't do as I do.....)

The supplements that are obtained from this site are comparatively cheap and quickly delivered - and don't forget to get a copy of the book (downloadable) and the CDs are a wonderful tool!

Thanks to all who responded to me. I did not know I could get topa online. I will ask my doc first and see how it goes as my liver is pretty messed up. I think to start I will get the starters pack and take it from there. I am looking forward to following the program. I am using a hypnosis cd from a well known aussie guy but it seems to make me drink more. I think my brain is hard wired to rebel. Typical addict behaviour but from reading alot of the messages posted I do feel I have hope. Chat soon Ange

I am also from Australia, and l have the exact same problem as you. I know l can moderate, but l do go on regular binges, and am finding out my trigger points, so now l have to plan my evenings out perfectly and count exactly how many drinks l have so as to not go over my limit. I am getting better, but feel so lousy today as l went over last night. I a am very seriously thinking about quitting for ever.
Where in Australia do you live?

Go to the top of the Main Menu and click on Introduction to My Way Out Programme and Frequently Asked Question sections. These section will explain the programme and the book that we're referring to better than I can! Not trying to dodge your questions but if you're interested in looking at MWO its the best place to start. Then come back and ask away!!! It's a great programme and it's helped so many of us.

Hi Shez, I am in Bris Vegas. I have just ordered the extreme pack and am looking forward to its arrival. I think even in moderation or moderate drinkers have a few too many occasionally but we binges have to be careful that does not lead us back into binging. I am still in two minds about trying to get topa from the dr but I should try and if not I will get it on line. I am concerned about the side effects. Naltrexzone made me very depressed and campral did not work at all. Anyway I am in a situation where a few side effects won't matter that much. Sometimes I just avoid socialising as I know where it can lead me as I have lots of fellow bingers to binge with. We do have fun but we always hate it the next few days. Don't give up. Ange
