    Thank You Lo0p

RIP. Hi everyone. I am posting for the first time in this area of the forum to let folks know that a very special member of our community has passed. His screen name is Lo0p. You can find more information on the medication threads. I am posting here because I saw Byrd post on the med thread the other day.

This is such sad news for many of us. Evan was/has been very instrumental in our movement for baclofen.

    Peace

Thank you both. Evan "Lo0P" was inspirational to many of us. It did not matter the method you were using to recover, he was just glad to see you recover.

        Thank You Lo0p

Condolences to all of you who were close with him, and his family. I didn't know Evan, but by reading his posts, I know he was extremely caring and helped so many people achieve abstinence. RIP Lo0p.
Sometimes what you're most afraid of doing is the very thing that will set you free.

Hi j-vo -You are spot on about Evan (Lo0p). His passion was in helping people to become abstinent regardless of method. And more than anything, he did see baclofen as a major tool to help people achieve this goal. He acted more selflessly than most people know -and that is the way he wanted it to be.

            Thank You Lo0p

When I first joined here I stayed in the meds area because I was using TSM with Nal. LoOp was one of the members I liked immediately. I never tried BAC and luckily was able to get sober (after I gave up on TSM and Nal). But I do know if I needed to use BAC (and I would have if I failed to stay sober) he would have answered any questions I had.

He was compassionate, so incredibly smart and hilarious. He was all around an amazing person. It's funny how some of us only "know" each other in this cyber world and yet his death has been as hard for me as if it were one of my circle of friends. I still can't believe it.

He did so much more in his short life than I could imagine doing in my whole life.

RIP Evan. I can say for sure you will be missed by more people than you could ever imagine.
