    Any friends still here?

    Hi Noodle,
I just finished reading through your thread, and I have to say, it moved me to tears. I can't offer much more than support at this point, but will always be here to listen. It sounds like you are battling depression and anxiety, which isn't unusual after years of drinking. Hopefully, as your body detoxes, your mood will improve. xx

K9 - this WAS me. Thank God those days are behind me. I think I'm going to print this out and carry it with me so when I weaken, I can remember where I'm headed back to if I take that first drink.
Everything is going to be amazing

Noodle to be honest I think you need some professional help here. I really suggest you see a doctor and start thinking about detox and support while you do this -plus some heavy duty counselling.
Have you ever been to CADS?
Community, Alcohol and Drug services. The local branch will be in the phone book. It's free.
It won't be a picnic but I suggest you get an assessment from them.
      They have lots of options.
And/or see your GP for a full doing-over.
