Hello Everyone...I just wanted to pop in and say I am back. Of course it's the same old story.....I had a few good attempts, got cocky, thought I could moderate and did so pretty successfully for a little while and then before you know it, things started spiraling out of control again.

I don't think I accepted my truth, which is that I'm addicted to alcohol and that made my commitment to my sobriety weak.

I hope everyone is doing well......I am looking forward to reconnecting and supporting each other in this battle. I am considering this my Day 1 and looking forward to getting my moon on day 7!

Hi Miley,
I am new here but I am glad to see you. It is always good to get back in the practice of being AF. I have quit many times, using different models. I tried to moderate for 5 months and I was miserable. I was trying to keep it to AMA standards of 9 units a week for women. My journal has the proof of trying to figure out if I drank on Monday could I on Tuesday and not Wednesday and maybe Friday ect. It was a big mess and I always ended up having too much and feeling bad about it. I think it often is like that for us. Anyway good for you for being here. I am on day 10 and will look for you in the nest.
