Losing my dad was one of the hardest things I have ever gone through in my life. I'm not sure I am through it yet and it has been over 20 years.

Be good to yourself right now Chili. I've lost both my parents and my wonderful stepdaughter. Day one can wait. I don't remember the exact wording but during my stepdaughters service and again at a grief counseling series months later, there was a poem about remembering - Something like In the crashing of the waves we will remember them, In the falling of the leaves we will remember them............I hope you have friends and family around you can share your memories with - it helps.
