    Chilli

My heart goes out to you, I found these words written by Mary Frye (1932), I pray that they may be of some comfort to you:

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there, I do not sleep
    I am a 1,000 winds that blow
I am the diamond glints on snow
I am the sun on ripened grain
I am the gentle autumn rain
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled light
I am the soft star that shines at night
Do not stand at my grave and cry
I am not there; I did not die.

Chilli, we are all here for you, take care of yourself, have your wine, don't beat yourself up, we will pick you up when you are ready. Day one can wait for the moment.

    Warm hugs, take care,

    Bluesky
It is easier to stay out than get out.

"The Greatest Gift I Ever Had,
      Came From God,
      I Call Him Dad"

Losing my dad was one of the hardest things I have ever gone through in my life. I'm not sure I am through it yet and it has been over 20 years.

Take time for yourself. We are always here when you need us.

PM me if you want to talk.

            Chilli,
I'm sorry about your Dad, grieve, cry get it out. Drink if you need to but not so much that you stop feeling, hurt as it may you need to get the pain out, not block it in.

Be good to yourself right now Chili. I've lost both my parents and my wonderful stepdaughter. Day one can wait. I don't remember the exact wording but during my stepdaughters service and again at a grief counseling series months later, there was a poem about remembering - Something like In the crashing of the waves we will remember them, In the falling of the leaves we will remember them............I hope you have friends and family around you can share your memories with - it helps. Take care

Chilli, I completely understand what you are going through. When they handed me my mom in a box I lost it. Allow yourself this time to grieve in whatever way works best for you. My heart goes out to you. :l
