I am back for another day one.

I am back and I am going to keep coming back until I can become AF.
In the past I have not come back because I was embarrassed, shame, guilt
And all those useless feelings.
I don’t want to hold the record for starting out at day one over and over but if that
is what it takes then so be it.
Today is another day and it is going to be another AF day for me.

Thanks to you all of you for your wishes and words of encouragement.

All you can do is keep trying...I mean, what's the other option? Give up? You don't want that, and we don't want that for you. You're not a failure, or beyond hope, or any nonsense like that! This is a TOUGH battle...we know. I am still struggling with cigarettes, so I understand how you feel. Just never give up quitting...I promise one day it will stick!

Rednose, if they gave prizes for the most day 1's, I've have it on my mantle. All I can say is 'Just do it'. Dig your heels in and do not give in no matter what and no matter who. I wish I had gotten it right on the first try, but it is what it is. I could have saved myself a tremendous amount of agony. Don't be me! Do whatever it takes to get thru this day AF.

Red Nose hang in there it's tough but there is support here. I have probably 10 or 15 years of day ones. You've made the first step you know you have a problem now you can work on the problem. Just get through this day worry about tomorrow tomorrow.

I personally find focusing on all the good stuff about the AF life, which is usually the entire next day. And lots of distractions at the witching hour.

I am with you on the day one thing. I have had too many day 1s to count.
I need to get this right and so do you so we have to keep coming back. If we quit coming back and quit trying we will sink further.
My son is trying to beat his addiction to drugs, gambling and alcohol. I want support him but how can I be of support if I am still struggling with my own addiction. I need to get a grip on this.
So on with day one!!!!

Hi I'd like to say good luck and I too am starting off again! Day 2 for me. I am sick of not being able to control myself. I gave myself April 21 as the first day of a 30 day AF try, I thought I'd try Easter as day 1 but that didn't go so well and I am really psyched for this 30! If anyone can give me some ways to make it I would be up for any suggestions. Anyway I wish everyone here a great day!
