    Going to AA. I just have to.

    Hello,

    I have been on this site for a few months now. Trying to battle the bottle (wine) that is. I can't moderate at I originally have tried. so, that being said me and a friend are both going to AA tonight. She and I have shared with each other our struggles and we both think that going to an actual meeting might help us. I plan to come here to as you have all been so wonderful and supportive. I will keep you posted. :thanks:
    ?Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we've learned something from yesterday.?

          If you and your friend don't like the meeting you went to tonight, find a different one. Like other organized meetings, you are going to find some that don't match your style... with your friend, laugh it off and see if there is another one that will be better.

            Mesh so good to hear a member looking beyond MWO. Many of us that are living a sober life have used many different programs along with the support that MWO members give.
            I found smart recovery very helpful at the start of my recovery.
            Looking forward to reading about your journey and AA. I am not an AA person but make a point of reading the AA tread that our MWO members post. It is very inspirational.

                      Hi Everyone,

                      Yes, doing well. Day 5!!!! Going to another AA meeting tonight. the meeting is called Happy Hour!!! It is kind of a rough group. Lots of Drug and Alcoholol peeps. Very nice people and good stories which help me realize how bad alcholol can get. Thanks for all the support!!!
