    Better w/o Alcohol...

I wanted a place to log the great things about NOT drinking. I realize new things every day! I'm sure we all have random thoughts of "I couldn't have enjoyed THAT if I were drinking...", etc. To have a list will be a good thing to look back on in the moments we miss AL...

      2. Able to focus and be more productive at work.
      3. Able to engage once again in my hobbies and other enjoyable activities instead of being passed out during my non-working hours.
In the middle of my life's journey, I found myself in a dark wood, as I had lost the straight path. It is a difficult thing to speak about, how wild, harsh and impenetrable that wood is. Just thinking about it recreates the fear. It is scarcely less bitter than death, but in order to tell of the good that I found there, I must tell of the other things I saw there. --Dante, paraphrased

                10. I'm fairly certain that my decision to stop drinking has allowed my daughter to "trust me alone" with her baby girl... she knows that I will be a good role model and grandmother to her sweet angel.
