Mountain Lady: My story is very similar to yours...same drinking pattern. I've had ups & downs, but the support from MWO is unbelievable. I try to take it one day at a time, because the bad habits are so entrenched. I use DrinkTracker to see how much I've had to drink during the month. It works for me to see it in print. Welcome to MWO! Wow, it sounds like you have jumped right in and taken care of everything. I am impressed that you went to your doctor and asked for a prescription. There is a good section about Topamax and a particular thread about it if you have any questions. I started on it and have been really happy I did. I hope you have as much good fortune. I had to chuckle 'cause I'm a red wine in the winter, but a white wine in the summer, kinda gal myself! Keep us posted on how you are doing.
