Hi Newbies,

I've decided to check in here everyday because it was really helpful to me back in May. I know there are some new faces, so hi to anyone I haven't met properly yet.

Back on day 1 af and nursing last nights hangover. I think there are monster wheels on my bandwagon, cause I've fallen off spectacularly this time.

Good to hear from you Louise & Kitty!! Kitty you sound better today - thats what this things all about isn't it - good days and bad days. Well done for picking yourself up and getting back on that wagon!! I read your post and whatever you do, no matter how you are feeling - you must never stop coming on here. We are here for each other, through good and bad times. I know the May thread got me through each day, without it I know I wouldn't have got to my 30 day goal. So lets keep this June thread going guys!!! Janicexx

June Newbies in Need Day 6

Hi all. I'm so glad you are staying Kitty. I'm feeling kinda depressed too, but I am AF 29, as is my hubby. I went to bed early last nite and woke up w/an icky, icky eye. It's slowly clearing up.....people don't run with their hands in front of their face screaming "Banish ye demon!" anymore, so things are getting better.

I'm thinking of taking up the pirate look, wearing a patch.....how's this..."Ahoy Mateys!" Did that sound good?

Or, I guess I could call the doc and see what witchcraft he suggests......at least my pets love me....sniff, sniff

You've both done so well, congrats.

Had a scare earlier, my bf's brother's dog escaped today and was hit by a car. The man who hit him phoned us to tell him where he was and luckily he is ok. But it was touch and go at the vets for a bit and I'm walking around like Jackie O now with my shades on because I've been crying. I'm a cat person really and he's the first little dog I've ever loved.

Thank god she's alive, we're taking her for a walk in the fields tomorrow. Have you read Jay's thread about his cat? There is a passage on there called Rainbow Bridge and it is just lovely.

Oh well nearlly 8.00pm and crossing my fingers that the rest of the evening goes without a hitch.
