    Emergency cravings busters

    1.A cup of hot chocolate made with real milk. Milk supplies all amino acids...chocolate binds to the same receptors in the brain that alcohol does. You will be indifferent to alcohol.
    2. Glutamine powder
    3. Almonds, cashews, peanuts.
    4. Bowl of oatmeal.
    5. Greek yogurt
    6. Romaine lettuce salad with lean protein.
    7. V 8 veggie juice.
    9. Eggs with cheese.
    10. Green and black tea...hint, they have theanine which works just like GABA
    11. My favorite, green smoothies.
    These are my secret weapons...you can add to the list.

    Thanks Lizanother one that works for me sometimes is ice cold water with a ton a of lemon,clears thoughts and that"heavy" feeling sometimes I've drank just cuz I felt foggy and wasn't thinking straight,excellent list and I plan to use them,thanks again

          Actually I go to this fancy hair salon & he sells it with the skin care products, good for skin & hair. You can buy on amazon.com, ceremonial Japanese tea... Or just google it. It is expensive but you only need 1/2 teaspoon with 80ml hot water for a cup so dont let the cost scare you off.. And they do not recommend more than 2 cups a day, I have one. I am glad I gave it a try.
          Note: it is a little bit disgusting taste. :upsidedown:

                Liz,just wanted to say thanks again for this list,I especially like the hot cocoa one, its a good one to drink if you're having an anxiety moment,my daughter was having a bout of anxiety and the cocoa stopped it in its tracks

                  You welcome Pauly, it really does work. It's now my winter comfort drink. I drink it with a whole wheat peanut butter and jelly sandwich for extra comfort.

                      A strong coffee/latte with a bit of cinnamon helps me, too.
                      Or a strong cinnamon or liquorice tea..

                          My pleasure Pauly, I keep hot chocolate at hand all the time, even in the summer time. Thanks for the coconut oil advise, iam starting the regimen soon as I have been reading a lot about it. I intend to add it to my morning smoothie.

                            Bumping for 20/20 and madonmehndi also myself,the hot chocolate one made with whole milk and dark cocoa powder is my favorite and works great! I'm gonna start bringing some to work
