This time of year it's important to stay connected.
Next 2 weeks are a challenge for us - in different ways............ as most others go BANANAS with excesses. In this country anyway - that is mainly alcohol.
I'd say 50% of the adult population are functioning alcoholics. ( or maybe that just the people I've surrounded myself with over the years ?) Birds of a feather etc ...
With young Satz on the wagon will be a great excuse for a low key Christmas.
Most of it is bullshit anyway....
This time of year I wish I had kids or grand kids .... it is magical for the really young ones.
but I'll get over that come January when I start booking flights for Greece ............ :yay:Comment

Wasn't feeling actually feeling poorly.......thought I'd better see her sooner rather than later. Just got a few days on steroids and going back in January to talk about stopping smoking..........like the Dr said I've walloped one addiction so she knows I can do it. Then we had a good long chat about the new alcohol services up here.
Then went to do a bit of Chrimbo shopping with himself. Trying to tell him a new bra, a handbag and 2 half-price throws for the settee were needed today are vital for my sanity over the festive season wasn't that hard............should have pushed for the boots
