I am new here for quitting alcohol

Dear all,
I am new here. I notice that this forum is mainly concerning on the alcohol. I am here for my grandpa, who loves drinking a lot. But his condition is getting worse and worse, he has to quit alcohol. But you know this is very difficult. So I hope I can get support and some great ideas here.

Yes, this site is for quitting alcohol. I'm sorry to hear about your Grandpa. They used to have a place here for family members, but I just checked and I didn't see it. Have you tried a local Al-Anon group in your area? Do you have anyone to talk to about his drinking? That's a scary thing you're going through.
